Inlays
All designs are figured on a case by case basis, but the information below should give you an idea of what to expect.
Multi-Level Inlays are priced per level. For example, there are 9 diamonds making up each piece in cue 46, so the price for each piece would be $135. The inlays in the points of cue 81 are three pieces, not two pieces with colored epoxy. I will not take shortcuts and use filler. If an inlay has a black outline, it is ebony and not colored epoxy.Diamonds - $15 ea Notched Diamonds - $20 ea Spears - $15 ea Double Notched Diamonds (as in Cue 45) - $30 ea Peacocks - $45 ea Fleur De Lis (Ivory & Silver or Abalone) - $100 ea
Woods
Most woods are included in the pricing listed above. However, due to cost or rarity, some woods require an additional surcharge. Below are some examples. Surcharge reflects the added cost for a forearm or points and a butt sleeve.
The above list covers most of the surcharges that come up. The cost for Cocobolo may seem outrageous considering the cost of a piece of wood. However, due to the allergic reactions that I have to this wood, I would prefer not to have to work with this wood again. It is one of my favorite woods, but it's just not worth it. The price for Snakewood is for points and butt sleeve only. I will not use this wood for a forearm or a handle. Most Burls - $125 Brazilian Rosewood - $200 Snakewood - $300 Cocobolo - $500
